Carnival Studies is a series of photographs I took over several carnival seasons in Massachusetts. With two exceptions the photos were all made with a Polaroid camera on instant film. This older photographic technology suits the carnival experience, which is always kind of timeless and haunting.  - Lisa Beskin

TAC - the Teen Art Collective

100% free, registration required, Thursdays 5:30-8:00pm
for teenagers 13-18yo
 

A FREE, flexible & supportive teen art program, geared towards developing a consistent visual art practice, experimenting with new materials, creating a body of artwork, forming a community, curating an end-of-year art exhibition, & working as art leaders in the community.

**Blocks 2 & 3 have TA opportunities for emerging art educators to learn classroom management skills and assist in our youth vacation programs (stipended).**

Basics of Watercolor - Autumn Veggies

Dive into the basics of watercolor painting in this 2 hour class through painting Autumn Veggies! Learn tips, colors, techniques, and unlock the mysteries of watercolors.

ASAP - After School Art Program
Thursdays for kids 10-13 years old

Unleash your creativity and get creative support among peers, with additional mentorship from professional artist & educator Chloe Torri, along with teen mentoring artists.

This program runs on Thursdays through the academic school year.

Students may arrive as early as 2:30pm and can be picked up any time up until 5pm.

First Friday Mindful Pinch Pots 
First class: October 2nd

Join Wade Boswell to explore the sensuous way clay moves slowly under your fingers to take shape!
 

All ages welcome, but artists under 15yo must attend with a caregiver who is also registered for the workshop.
 

Call For Art: 2026 Maker's Market

Artspace Greenfield invites Western Mass artists and crafters to participate in a November 15th Maker’s Market—at the top of the Holiday Season.

This is a unique, early-season opportunity for makers to sell work without having to be on site. 

Artists drop off work ahead of time, we display the work in our gallery and handle all sales. The following week, you come pick up your unsold work and a check for the proceeds, minus a modest commission for Artspace.

Market is Sunday, November 15th, 10am-2pm

Creature Creations - Multi Day Workshop

One ceramics workshop, spread out over 4 days!

3. Sunday, October 11th, 10:00am-12:30pm - sculpt

4. Saturday, October 17th, 1:00pm - 3:00pm - glazing
